Ginger Salty Dog
This is a delicious and simple twist on an old standard.
1 ½ oz Ginger-Infused Zamir Vodka*
Salt the rim of a highball glass and fill it with cracked ice. Shake ginger-infused vodka and grapefruit juice together, then fill the glass and garnish with candied ginger.
*You’ll need to plan at least a week ahead of time for the Ginger-Infused Zamir Vodka. Simply fill a quart-sized jar with 1 cup washed and chopped (unpeeled) organic ginger, and add 750 ml of vodka. Store it in a cool, dark place, and shake it gently every few days. Test it in seven days, and infuse longer if more flavor is desired. Filter it into a decorative bottle and serve.
